True Colors CHANNEL #19

#19 "For a world where “Leave No One Behind”" Featuring Dancer with white cane MORIKO JAPAN

MORIKO JAPAN was puzzled because he could not find his mother to pick her up from kindergarten. As a child, he would trip over steps and crash into window panes, but he thought it was just “carelessness.” However, the diagnosis he received as an adult was retinitis pigmentosa, a progressive and incurable disease. He has now lost about 99% of his vision. There are things that he could do a year ago that he can no longer do now. The symptoms of his illness change from day to day. He worked hard and became a pharmacist, but is sometimes discriminated against. He was supported by breakdancing and his friends. He talks with MC Hikaru Takahashi and navigator Manabe Kawori.
